B6: toggling view-columns-... is buggy
With every switch of any column, the file list gets more and more columns details view.
BTW: This menu should be enabled only in details view and perhaps thumbnails & details view (columns are not always visible there)!

Do you mean with linked Zooming and Panning between the 2 opened tabbed windows? That could be interesting indeed... Yes, i have been thinking of this too. It would replace the compare window. I would like the following features: 1) Should not be restricted to 2 windows / tabs 2) Linking could be a...

why is it not possible to rate images in fullscreen mode?
I personally mostly decide in fullscreen mode, if a picture is good or not (keep it or drop it). So if i would rate my images, i would like to do it in fullscreen mode (because thumbnail or preview is too small to decide). But currently the shortcuts don't work in fullscreen mode. Will they be imple...

I like the 'pro' grid features collection from JFC very much: 1. Name+Save grid 2. Delete named grid 3. Set named grid to default 4. Units for grid X & Y: Pixels, cm, in, % of image, etc. Also, simple X by Y values 5. Toggle to scale grid with zoom (disables some of the units choices, obviously) 6. ...

IPTC- Timestamp template?
<Moderator's note: This topic has been split from another topic>
Will or should there be an date / timestamp template in *.ini to define how date and time is displayed in the IPTC tab (e.g. YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss)?

After reading the topics to ratings and color labels, i think we should keep them both (before i followed helmuts first point of view to have only one rating/labeling). But besides naming and grouping, there is imho some functionality missing and room for improvement. The checkboxes in category tree...

set IPTC-date to EXIF-date for multiple pictures
If more than one image is selected and IPTC date/time-values are set by exif-data (f.e. <EXIF taken>), each image gets the same date/time from the current image when 'write all selected' is pressed (instead of the individual date/time of the image). It has been requested before during 1.82 testing (...
