Re: Slide Show crashes with recent Canon RAW files
BTW, an alternative and probably quick solution, would be to bypass the problem by adding an option, " Exclude RAW files ", in the "More Options" section of Slide Show. Even if the bug was not there, that is actually something I'd prefer to use: after all, in a slideshow, we want to see nicely finis...

Re: Slide Show crashes with recent Canon RAW files
Yes, it is still crashing, with the latest version (2.40) on Windows 7. Here is the Canon test image again: https://www.dropbox.com/s/eky2mpnkei68lb0/2016_12_24_XmasLayout.zip?dl=0 It seems to be a problem with RAW files in general? Because I found that the Slideshow also has problems with Kodak (.D...

Re: Slide Show crashes with recent Canon RAW files
Hi PIerre,
Any progress with fixing this bug? It's been several months, so I thought I would check in about it.
Thanks,
Ray

Slide Show crashes with recent Canon RAW files
Hi, I'm using the very latest version 2.39 of Xnview, but this has been a bug for a few versions, and on three different Windows 7/Windows 10 machines that I use. To reproduce the bug: Tools -> Create -> Slide Show -> Add Folder -> pick a folder containing Canon .CR2 raw & jpg files (I use an EOS 5D...

XnView MP cannot start up after image deleted/corrupted
Hi, I'm using the latest Mac version of XnviewMP (I reinstalled it from the website right now just to be sure, and it made no difference). What seems to be a new feature of XnviewMP is actually a curse  : I am referring to the way in which it reloads whatever images were open at the time it wa...

Tile Windows (side-by-side image display)
What I miss most about MP on my Mac, vs the original Xnview on my PC, is the lack of any Windows -> Tile options (Tile Vertically, Tile Horizontally). I always found that absolutely invaluable for comparing images side-by-side: 2 different images in a sequence, or the same image before and after som...

Re: Integrating Adobe filters
Whoops, sorry! Just realised that I was installing very old PanoTools 8bf files - got some newer ones and Xnview "sees" them now.

Re: Integrating Adobe filters
I followed exactly the instructions above in "To add an 8bf plugin in XnView: ..." But I have this problem: The .8bf files I added do not appear in the "Plugins Manager" afterwards. In more detail: * I have the latest Xnview complete (1.97.5) * I installed the 8bf plugins (for PanoTools) in the righ...
