you have a plugin here How do I get the plugin there for HEIC to work? I downloaded the HEIF plugin and put all the files in C:\Program Files\XnViewMP\plugins It shows up when I look at plugins in the about dialog. How should it work? What I would like to do is convert a HEIC file to a jpg.

I tried something else.

I uninstalled XnView.
I deleted the XnView folder from Program Files.
I deleted every reference the XnView I could find in the registry.

I then reinstalled and it seems to work now.

I just tried that and it did not help.
I also tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the program and now no files will display thumbnails.
Strange thing is the folder thumbnails are displaying but if you click into a folder there are no thumbnails.

What's next?

I have a folder of photos that the thumbnails are not displaying. Also the image window does not display anything when a file is selected. I tried the different settings in Options. I tried rebuilding the thumbnails. I tried moving them to a different folder. I tried upgrading the the latest version...
