Recursive view but not all files?

Post by appyface »

How do I get a recursive view of only the configured file types in preferences (I have all image formats selected and no others)? When I use recursive I get all files, not just the images. Thank you for help.

I don't seem to have that anywhere?

What I do have:

1. Tools-> preferences-> browser-> file list-> customer filter (tab) - is set only for images (all images options are marked and greyed out. All other checkboxes are unmarked.

2. View-> Filter by-> Images

3. I select a location, say c:\, in browser bar. Only images and folders show up in image pane. (N.B. Folders is unchecked in Tools but they still show up, not sure how to remove them, I think this used to work?) I just want images here.

4. Right click location c:\ in browser bar and choose Show All Files (recursive).

5. Sort by Created Date -> descending.

All files appear to be shown, not just image formats... files ending in .exe, .json, .tmp, file names like 9BF81FF974F9347B49D78260EB142E11B14D273A, etc.

How can I see just images when viewing recursive?

Thank you for help.

If i use Filter by>Images, and use 'show all files', only images are shown, no txt, ...

Did you try entire c:\ drive as mentioned? It's not working here. I'm using latest version (0.86 64-bit).

Right, It's the same in any folder. I need to load file info to know if it's an image or not, and after thumbnail processing, such items are hidden
