change color label names in MP?

Post by carlseibert »

Is it possible to change the color label names in XnView MP?

I tried adding custom names (to match Adobe CC programs) in ~/.xnviewmp.xnview.ini, in the Browser section, like so:

ColorLabel-0=Red
ColorLabel-1=Yellow
ColorLabel-2=Green
ColorLabel-3=Blue
ColorLabel-4=Purple

But nothing happened in the interface.

It is worth noting that despite the names not matching, colors set in XnView appear correctly in Bridge, Lightroom, and Photo Mechanic.

But it would be nice to have the labels match across those programs.

This is on a Mac. I did check to make sure the xnview.ini that I edited was the one set in the paths section under Integration in XnView prefs.

oh.

Doh.

I didn't see the tab. When I searched, nothing relevant for MP returned. So, I'll prefer to think of this as "creating documentation", as opposed to just wasting your time :-)

Thanks!
