0.85 & 0.86: Blocks Windows Standby after video playback

Post by goobb »

XnView MP Windows
Version 0.85 64bits (Apr 4 2017)
Windows 7x64

After video playback with XnView Windows standby is blocked. After restart of XnView Windows standby is working again until the next time a video is played via XnView. You can check this with MCE Standby Tool which can show sleep blockers.

XnView MP Windows
Version 0.86 64bits (Apr 25 2017)
Windows 7x64

After video playback with XnView Windows standby is blocked. After restart of XnView Windows standby is working again until the next time a video is played via XnView. You can display this issue with MCE Standby Tool (Tab "Windows idle"). To get this freeware do a web search for MCE Standby Tool Version 0.9.102 (Last Version, unfortunately development ist discontinued).

No such issue with XnView Classic on Windows 7x64. The flag "system required" is correctly unset a few seconds after stopping or pausing video playback.
