Hello,
I am trying to change the background color of a picture I used the edge detection filter. Usually its the standard grey, but I would like to change it to another color. Is there a simple way?
(I tried it with a color pic (24bit) and with a 256 grey shades pic). is it even possible? I use the Jpeg-format.
thank you very much!

Re: change Background-Color after Edge Detection-filter?
What you could try is shifting the colours or changing the colour balance.
After edge detection you:
1. Select Image > Adjust > Hue/Lightness/Saturation
2. In "Adjust Hue/Lightness/Saturation" dialog you set saturation to 40 (for example). Select a "Hue" of your desire. Use saturation and lightness till you've found the colour of your desire.
3. Confirm with "OK"
Alternatively you can:
1. Select Image > Adjust > Brightness/Contrast/Gamma/Balance
2. Use Red / Green / Blue sliders in "Colour Balance" panel to change the colour.
It might well be that contrast isn't strong enough. Use Image > Adjust > Brightness/Contrast/Gamma/Balance to increase contrast.
After edge detection you:
1. Select Image > Adjust > Hue/Lightness/Saturation
