suggestion: Increasing the browser window speed?

Post by masterjp »

I use the following custom filters for the browser window:

I often use the browser window to search for picture files.
If I open a folder for the first time, which is not in the catalog database, XNView MP will show me all files for a short time in the directory. If there are some movie files in the directory, the scan process takes much time. After the scan process is finished, my custom filters are applied.

Sometimes I have the suspicion that all files are analysed and thereby speed is lost.
Is it possible to change the sequence?
First filter the files of a directory and then loading the preview pictures?

Maybe the XNView MP Browser gets a speed improvment.

It is okay and I understand you.
It costs much time to change the browser and filter algorithm for a small performance improvement.
