0.85: Renaming files bug in thumb+details view

Postby phaolo » Wed May 24, 2017 8:19 pm

XnView: MP 0.85 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 7 64bit

Trying to rename files in thumb+details view causes a strange message to appear:
"The destination contains already a folder with same name, what do you want to do?"
with the buttons: [Skip] [Overwrite] [Abort]

Effect: can't rename files properly in that view.

To reproduce:
1. set the view
2. rename a file with F2 or normally

Actual behaviour (bug): is the program trying to create a folder for some reason? O_o :bug:
EDIT: sometimes it makes a copy of the file, even if you click "Abort".

Expected behaviour: rename a file like in the other views.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.87. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
Pierre.
